Apple and Cranberry Crisp
Ingredients:
4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup orange juice
Topping:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, toss apples, cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange juice. Transfer to a baking dish.
3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter. Mix until crumbly, then sprinkle over the apple mixture.
4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until bubbly and golden. Serve warm.
